TUITION AND FEES

It is each student’s responsibility to fully understand the tuition, fees, and payment policies prior to beginning the program. No exceptions are allowed concerning the payment of tuition, fees, and/or charges associated with this program and/or the College. The application fee of $250.00 is non-refundable** and is due with the application. Tuition and fees are due on the dates as noted below. Please be sure to have your payments in our office on or before the payment due date. Payments can be mailed or delivered directly to the Administrative office. Students are not allowed to continue with a module or class if a tuition payment or fee is not received on or before the due date. Tuition must be paid before a student is classified as registered. The current schedule of payments is shown below. Financial aid is currently not available.

Laboratory Fee: $500 1 time covers all lab fees

*Books will be purchased by each student individually and are not included in the tuition and fees paid to John Thomas College.

**Consistent with Missouri certification requirements, any student may cancel their application agreement within three days of submission, excluding Saturdays, Sundays and holidays for a complete refund of all monies paid.

COMPUTER PURCHASE AND ACCESS POLICIES

A large portion of our testing will be undertaken on-line, within the college’s learning platform. Students will be required to have a laptop computer with wireless Internet access in order to undergo these tests. All of the tests, assignments and group projects will be completed on line. The requirements for the laptop computer system will be a Pentium III or equivalent processor of 525Mz clock speed or greater, and a minimum of 512MB of RAM. The operating system must be Microsoft Windows XP, home edition, version 2002 or later. The college will offer acceptable laptop machines to students if requested and certain vendors will be specified to provide computers complying with the requirements. Those students purchasing computers from designated vendors will be provided with technical assistance as needed. Those purchasing computers from non-designated vendors will need to get technical assistance from the source from which they purchased their computer Computer access will be by electronically secure password. This password will be the student’s access to all records and files as well as to the on-line portion of each module. Protection of all passwords is the responsibility of the individual student.

TEXTBOOKS

Textbooks are available through most medical bookstores. Required books and recommended readings will be announced as soon as they are made available by the instructor. Each instructor requires specific textbooks for the completion of the corresponding course. Additional materials in the form of periodical articles, printed notes or supplemental learning aids will be provided on-line by the College at the request of the instructor. These materials will be available through the College’s Learning Platform and accessible by secure password, only. Additional course and individual study aids are available through the John Thomas College Library, other medical libraries and/or the Internet.
