Dear Colleague,
John Thomas College of Naturopathic Medicine is proud to be able to
offer this unique educational program.
Our college was founded in 1998 with the purpose of offering a post-graduate course
of education in naturopathic medicine for the first degreed professional trained
as an M.D., D.C., or D.O who possess the knowledge, core concepts and principles
of human biology with the scientific foundations of medicine and medical practice,
including disease pathogenesis and treatment, illness prevention and health maintenance.

John Thomas College
of Naturopathic Medicine provides an interdisciplinary healthcare curriculum dedicated
to the training and education of a new form of healthcare practitioner. Our objective is to bring Doctors of Naturopathic Medicine (NMDs) to the
forefront of the scientific community by re-establishing integrated health care
through proper educational criteria.
The integrated physician will be trained in the traditional naturopathic protocols
and preventative healing arts. However, this individual is also a doctor who uses
tools from every facet of the health care system to treat patients under most circumstances
in the clinical, family practice environment.
Students of our Naturopathic Medicine program must already possess a professional
degree and be licensed or license-eligible to diagnose and treat human ailments
and disease. This program is challenging,
requiring extensive academic study and clinical work, but the rewards are great.
The time has come. Americans are seeking
doctors who possess the knowledge of healing while demanding respect and the “human
touch.” Doctors of Naturopathic Medicine
(NMDs) are very caring doctors- believing in treating the whole person with the
key to health being prevention. By
combining both traditional and alternative medical approaches, patients can be treated
in a broader sense.
We welcome you in considering John Thomas College
of Naturopathic Medicine as your next career choice. Our faculty and staff are available to assist you throughout your advanced
training as you pursue and complete your N.M.D. degree.
Sincerely,
Dennis J. Rodden, R.N., D.C., N. M.D.
