PROFESSIONAL LICENSING
Credits and degrees in the Doctor of Naturopathic Medicine Program will not automatically
qualify the holder to participate in the professional licensing examinations to
practice Naturopathic Medicine where licensing exists. Persons interested in practicing
Naturopathic Medicine should contact the jurisdiction of interest to inquire as
to the specific requirements for licensure. An active and promising effort to acquire
licensure in several states is underway, but there is no guarantee that licensure
will be granted.
CERTFICATION & ACCREDITATION
John Thomas College and the Advanced Doctor of Naturopathic Medicine Program is cerified by the Missouri Department of Higher

licensure. The College will actively pursue accreditation with agencies, including
but not limited to, the North
Central Association of Colleges and Schools (NCA) and the Council on Naturopathic
Medical Education (CNME).
