CLASSROOM REQUIREMENTS
The class module sessions occur from Wednesday through Sunday once each month and
are taught by College faculty who hold graduate degrees in their area(s) of expertise.
The typical in-class module session schedule is as follows:
Wednesday 12:00pm – 6:00 pm
Thursday 8:00 am – 6:00 pm
Friday 8:00 am – 6:00 pm
Saturday 8:00 am – 6:00 pm
Sunday 8:00 am – 12:15 pm
Lunch breaks Thursday through Saturday will be from 12:15 to 1:00 pm daily. Since
these sessions are based on a fifty-minute hour, there will be time for breaks within
the schedule for the day. At the discretion of the instructor, break time not taken
during the day may be added to the meal break or deleted from the end of the day.
At no time may break time be added to the scheduled instructional time.
Each student MUST electronically sign IN and sign OUT each day for attendance records.
If an instructor dismisses a class early and a student is not present, the student
may be considered absent for that day. If you must leave a class for any reason
please let one of the staff know. You will be counted absent for any non-attendance
and/or missing any part of any lecture(s) or days of classroom work. All students
are required to attend each class. Since this is an advanced program, you are not
allowed to miss classes. If you MUST miss a class or module please notify our staff.
You will be required to make-up the lecture or module the next time it is offered.
ON-LINE OPPORTUNITIES
The John Thomas College curriculum continues to develop opportunities for on-line
learning. Instructors will be available to answer on-line questions
relating to any aspect of the course and all answers and questions will be posted
to the CLP site. This facilitates greater access to the faculty and instructors
as well as your classmates in a real-time environment – no matter where you are
at that time!
