ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS
John Thomas College of Naturopathic Medicine considers students for
admission who qualify and have attained all academic requirements, passed criminal
background checks, have
met the minimal parameters for admission set forth herein by the credentialing committee
of this institution, and, in the event of concern by the college, have passed a
personal interview with the admissions committee. Those persons who have been convicted
in a court of law of sexual felonies or of felonies regarding the sale and distribution
of controlled substances or drugs will be denied acceptance.
In addition to completing all of the pre-requisite courses applicants
must also meet the following requirements:
- Possess professional health care degree as an M.D, D.C., or D.O., and be license-eligible
or statutory licensed to diagnose disease and treat the human body.
- Graduate of an accredited professional school and having successfully completed
all pre-requisite courses listed above with a minimum GPA of 2.5.
- Have all official transcripts that show at least a minimum GPA of 2.5 for all undergraduate,
graduate, and pre-requisite courses directly sent to the John Thomas College of
Naturopathic Medicine.
- Solicit two doctorate-level colleagues to each write a letter of recommendation that
addresses your character as a healthcare provider. Instruct these individuals to
send their letters directly to John Thomas College of Naturopathic Medicine
- Submit a personal letter of intent and your reason for wishing to become a doctor
of naturopathic medicine (N.M.D).
- Complete an application for admission to John Thomas College of Naturopathic Medicine.
- Submit the application fee along with completed application and all requested
documentation (see application for details) to John Thomas College of Naturopathic
Medicine.
